2.7 mm Limited Contact Compression Plates (LCC)

The limited contact compression plates possess a number of benefits compared to standard dynamic compression plates. The scalloped undersurface creates uniform bending and torsional stiffness, which helps maintain its mechanical features.

These mechanical features allow easier plate contouring that helps improve anatomic fit. In addition, the scalloped undersurface helps minimise iatrogenic vascular damage, which facilitates callus formation.

These biomechanical benefits can help accelerate the animal’s return to activity at a preinjury level.
