The Trilam nail is a new design of an elastic steel nail for osteosynthesis of the femur, tibia and humerus in small animals.
The nail is made from a biocompatible implant steel.
It has a round basic cross-section with three lamellae running lengthwise.
Both ends are sharply pointed.
