The powerful motor system for small animal osteosynthesis
The DRAGONFLY is a modular cordless drill system with 4 attachments for screwing, milling, drilling, and cutting. Thanks to the quick coupling, the attachments can be changed intraoperatively. The fully cannulated handpiece impresses with its slim design, balanced weight distribution and intuitive one hand operation.
The AO coupling, the keyless chuck for pins and wires as well as the Jacobs chuck are all fully canulated. The chucks are equipped with an adjustable clamping range of up to 4.0 mm. The attachments can be operated continuously in left / right rotation as well as in oscillation mode. The oscillating saw allows the saw blades to be used in 5 different positions.
Handpiece and attachments can be autoclaved. The core, however, is the removable, non-autoclavable drive unit. It includes all the electronics as well as the Li-Ion battery and guarantees a long service life of the system. With all components designed and manufactured in Germany, the DRAGONFLY offers a performance previously only known from compressed air or mains driven systems.
